Devil Horns emblems

Parts are currently in an anodize and powder coat shop being treated for finish, I was "promised" to have the parts last week and they're a little behind.
I called today and I was told they'll be ready tomorrow.

 

I smell A mutiny coming on!!!

 

People will come and complaint every batch for one reason or another, it's natural.
You can't rush quality
I will not rush the guys doing the finish treatment on the emblems, I'd rather take a hit for a few more days than rush these guys and have an impact on quality.

 

Well they were scheduled to be complete by last Thursday the 21st.

Friday (1 day)
Monday (1 day)
Tuesday (1 day)

So they're 3 days behind, I'm more than pleased with that provided the emblems were done correctly.
Thanks for being cool about the situation, sadly others can't quite be OK with it.
Once I get off work it will be shipping time for me.

Got the notification yesterday morning at about 0400.
Label printed, but no other info on the tracking as of 3:00 today.
Have the emblems actually shipped?

Emblems will be sent out for finish treatment around June 30th with an expected return date of July 18th.

It says expected, just that.

2 months, that was your choice to wait that long. others wait longer but that is the nature of this product.
I certainly don't see anyone else making them nor they have a legal agreement with Toyota.
You knew the schedule yet you chose to purchase.

If you wanted a refund all you had to do was ask.
I have been busy shipping hundreds of emblems trying my best and listening to you is equally upsetting.
Once I have all items back it still takes time to prepare them for shipping, deburr the extra material from powder coat on the threads, inspect every embelm for quality, package, print label.
When you get your item you won't be disappointed.

For the orders you created shipping labels for at the wee hours of the 28th, when will they actually be shipped?

Basically he's listed an approximate date of return (from a 3rd party) and shows about 3 days after their return for them to be packaged and shipped out. In that time I'm sure he's doing quality control and making sure the finishes are all up to par. These badges are not a full time gig, but rather a side thing he does because he enjoys making them and earning a few bucks.
I could assume that he's also packaging the orders in the order which they were received, if you ordered early you might see it ship a day or 2 sooner than someone that ordered at the end of the order period, also life happens, maybe he had some unexpected things come up this week that took away some time. I'd say if he's within a week of estimated ship dates thats pretty good!

Personally I ordered mine early April, I've been waiting over 3 months. I ordered 3 badges from this batch for our vehicles, that will make 6 in total I've owned from Andres over the years, dating back to some of his originals about 6 years ago on my 07 Tacoma and 03 Tacoma's. The badges are the real deal, he simply does not skimp on quality. I'm a person who can appreciate what he does and the quality he strives to turn out and the limited release nature of the product. I feel I'm lucky just to be able to own some of his products, they turn heads and get attention everywhere you go. If you're looking for a unique and custom part for you truck then these are a great finishing touch to set it apart, if you're the type of person that needs instant gratification of ordering and receiving a part 2 days later they simply are not.
Thank you Andres for what you do, if/when I need a new devil horns badge for my next Toyota I'll be here patiently waiting once again for your next batch. Keep up the good work.

I know it was a few days before I had any movement on the tracking thing. I have suffered thru groupon orders..............this is not bad when compared with the surprise packages 6 MONTHS or more after ordering. That is when I wonder what I "drunk ordered!!!!!!!"
