After I get my White Tacoma in a few months, Im gonna order this emblem when its available, paint it white and then paint the horns red. That way it will look like my truck just gored someone :D

so it's been a few months, and my shot penned anodized red devil horns are now faded to pinkish orangeish. Has anyone else's anodized horns faded? Below are pics, and they actually look lighter in person now than the faded pic shows. I'm not feelin' the new faded color, anyone have suggestions for painting them red again? Cheers:)

    day I put them on...

Just to be clear, I believe he is talking about the red anodized horns, not shot peened horns that were painted.

I have a set of the 3-color and I'd swear they are getting lighter, but was not sure since they look a bit different depending on the light at the time.

You should be able to paint over them using the same process as painting any of the emblems. I plan to paint over mine, but not quite sure yet what color, or when.

Shit...good eye! I think i read thru these too damn fast sometimes. Yeah...they can still be painted just fine. Quick light sand, scratchy 3m pad then clean with iso alcohol then paint.

I have a graphite color and it still looks great. I did wax it before placing the horns on the Tacoma.
