Be-careful, this will cause more damage, due to the guy who stole it will break the glass first. what you think?:p

polishing it isn't hard at all, and looks much better than clear coated, imo, but if theft is something you are worried aboiut, put some razor blades or straight razors behind it, when they try to unscrew it off teh grill, present for them, and blood dna for evidence :) used to do it for foglights, when the piaa's were top of the line in late 90's

I really prefer the bush aluminum look, would a clear coat look too processed? Again I’m looking for a ‘raw’ look. Do you have a picture comparison of the clear coat and no coat?

clear coat and no coat look exactly the same. There were times that I almost send out a few with no clear coat because it's hard to tell the difference. Anyone who's had this bad boy should coment on them with or without clear coar. From my experience a non-coated one will take away the shine after some time... but to each his own.

    BTW....
Neontraili did a nice job polishing his, he has a good picture of it on the first page of this thread but he had to remove all the machinning lines, definatelly not a "raw finish". If you want raw finish (which I prefer) then I can send it like that. Clear coat preserves the shine on the emblem and you can't tell the difference really. Shoot me an e-mail and tell me what kind of finish you want.

No extra for clear coat or Gun Metal black.

    BTW...
the clear coat can be easily removed, it looks and feels just like transparent glue but the layer is very thin.
please e-mail me for your option, it's hard keeping track of things so e-mail works better.

Cool so we can get the clear coat and if we are not happy it can be removed and then polished, sweet!! I still think clear is the best though. :)
