I have the DCS367 it definitely does NOT lack for sawing power, even compared to a plug in model (which I have). I don't have any flexvolt stuff, but another battery type of any variety does not appeal to me.

That said, there is something about the 367 that makes it so much easier to fit and use...........yes the shape as mentioned above. I have not used my corded saw in years.

 

It should be. The 367 has better balance, fits into a 14" joist bay, and has the same power as it's old style brother. It's way easier to use one handed as well. I wouldn't bother with a 60V sawzall. If you need more power pull out the cord. For now at least, a corded 15A sawzall has way more power then any cordless version. For normal tasks the 20V is just fine.

 

The 367 is hard to beat. The newer ones are worst and the flexvolt is powerful in the motor, but doesn’t actually cut faster.

one of my issues with dewalt. They make a ton of good stuff, but then refuse to make a good sawzall or impact driver. The reason for the sawzall is because the stroke length of the blade is 1 1/8th, where as Milwaukee and some of the more faster cutting recip’s are 1 1/4. This translates to work when cutting.

so essentially you won’t stall the motor when pushing down on a flexvolt, but a Milwaukee fuel will finish the cut faster.

 

There y’all go, expanding my mind again. I think I’ll lay hands on the 367 and see. I really like the point about fitting in a joist bay. (And I do have a corded red one if I have to cut up an entire house or something.)

 

i think this would sum up my review as well. it does seem a little short on the stroke, little extra time, but i would probably still get it again. like was said, it doesnt lack power or bog down, just takes a bit longer. For me as a homeowner, just fine. If this is my job, time is probably important. Edit. Something thats not thought of, but my back is crap right now and find the 367 easier to add pressure to the cut.

 

Another vote for the 367. Being able to use it 1 handed but still having power is great.

 

I have 367 and 369. I prefer the 369 but I don’t really use them that hard.

where is the best place to get more batteries? I’m about due for stocking up. Wait for some deal with a tool bundle?

Oh yeah, also, does Dewalt make a rotary tool similar to my corded Dremel? For tiny spot grinding and cutting?

 

No. I use Milwaukee M12 for that.

Doesn’t get much use from me besides makes slots for stripped screws and polishing feed ramps for pistols.

Closest thing Dewalt makes like that is a rotozip and die grinder.

I just picked up a couple of 2ah on ebay for cheap, but you gotta be sure you're getting recent manufacture dates.

Not so much a fan of the bundles because the price doesn't seem to be great, usually, and you end up with yet another charger you don't need.

 

I have the 389 and it is so heavy even before the battery that I barely use it. I think my most regular use for it is cutting down the annual Xmas tree, but it cuts through like butter.
