I was stationed at the pentagon as well with office at Myer. I just recognized the auto shop & parade field.

Hey man good looking build so far. I'm on a few threads in the area in which we try to meet up and go wheeling or just meet. I'm also stationed here but at Andrew's but from truckee. Saw your other builds look awesome! I want to do the same with mine and make it good enough to hit up the con someday too.

Yeah man for sure! There isn't much around unfortunately but closest thing to the con would be rausch creek up in PA. Still haven't been because I'm waiting to get some belly armor. These trucks sit too low and don't want to bang anything under the truck. I've been camping out in VA and it was fun but any stock truck can make it.

so i plan to run an On Board Air system with a 2.5 gallon tank, the Compressor came in the other day and the tank should be in today and then ill see how i want to route everything
but i bought this Master Flow Tsunami Air Compressor (The famous china made MV-50).
i went with this compressor because they're dirt cheap and really great. i've been running my other one in my F250 for over 3 years now and wont die, it's been outside, no air filter, no maintenance and it keeps pumping air up to 120psi no problem, so i'm more then sold on them, no reason to buy an expensive ARB or Viair when this $45 one can out do them
but i do plan to do a couple mods to the compressor to improve its reliability and air flow

i bought a 2.5 Gallon Viair Tank that i plan to mount above the rear axle between the frame rails

once i get the compressor and tank mounted that's when i will figure out where i want to run my wires and air lines, but i want air lines running to front and rear of the truck for sure

this morning i went to put my new compressor behind the back seat and pulled on the strap for the seat and this happened..............
i've only pulled on the strap a couple times to bet behind the seat sense i bought it
does anyone know if this is covered by warranty?

so check out what showed up this weekend
    Bushwacker fender flares

i started by putting on the little nuts and bolts on the new fenders and the rubber stripping around them, thats what took the longest, prepping the new ones to go on

once i got the new fenders ready to be installed, it was time to remove the factory ones
i started by unbolting all the screws on the bottom of them with a 10mm
then pulled them off from one corner of the fender working my way up and around to the other side of the fender
**the front fenders do have a couple clips that clip into the front bumper so just watch so those**
other then that theyll pop off pretty easy
then Remove the little Blue and orange clips
**the blues come out very easy, but the orange ones are a pain in the asss***

the factory fenders are held on with double sided sticky tape too, i didnt even bother pulling it off the truck sense you wont see it

    now for the New Fenders

using the new hardware, install the new bracket on the front
then all you do is pretty much bolt the new fenders in place
no drilling or cutting is required,
the bolts on the fenders are just for looks,
its held in place but the factory mounting holes

these Fenders stick out 1.5" out farther then the factory ones,
so my wheels look a little sucked in now that the fenders hang out farther then them
but thats why i bought 1.25" spacers so the tires would line up with the new fenders

Thank you for the info. Want to do a 3in lift but don't have all the cash saved up for uca's after buying everything else. Glad to hear the world isn't going to explode if I don't get uca's right away like some ppl make it sound.
