Well I better update this thread. So the yes the taco was stolen and found trashed/stripped in Florence.




It was a long time for insurance to cover me and they didn't even pay me out for parts, so I got a shitty check. Parents refused to argue insurance so I was stuck with the amount they offered. I did a lot of searching and decided to go full size. Found an 04 Silverado, 5.3Liter V8, BBR front long travel kit with shock hoops engine crossover bars, a 10" dual rate king 2.5 coil overs remote resi and a secondary 2.5 10" king smooth body remote resi. Interior has a Silverado SS cluster with all the gauges (trans temp too), a pioneer touch screen 7" deck, had a lot of room and a surprisingly roomy back seat for an extended cab. Rear end of the truck has a bedcage that is super clean and saves all my bed space, has king 2.5 remote resi 16" stroke, stock leafs, pulled bedsides, fiberglass fenders upfront, and 37" baja terrain tires, with 4.56 gears in the rear.

And took off the sketchy/wimpy bumper that was latterly held on by 3 self taping screws Started the new bumper today and got pretty far on it. I tried to keep it real clean and tucked with the truck.






Going to be putting a skid, valence, 30inch LED bar, and a smaller nerf tube on it as well. to protect my led bar, and grill some more.

 

Don't get the bumper too close. When the body rolls/shifts it'll flex on the bumper.
