There are a lot of HEB’s in Texas. They have good deli food.

Also, there a reason that Crawl for a Reason is not at Barnwell anymore... and it relates to the current owners... but that is neither here nor there...

Soooooooooo I have another 3.5 Toyota. MIL gifted us her 2008 Highlander as she retired outside the US. 2wd, no tow package, 116k miles. Well maintained but struts are pretty much shot, and it has some annoying squeaks from bushings and such.

Already had drama with it too. Took it for oil change and came home to find oil dripping from car. Shop made it right though, it was just a seal placed incorrectly or damaged. So now I get to do these annoying 3.5 oil changes from next time. And I have to buy the motivx oil filter wrench again coz I gave away last one.

We hiked all day yesterday with 112 heat index. Sucked, but we survived... barely.

The wife and dogs ended up having to sleep in the truck last night because they couldn’t cool down and her insulin wasn’t taking. I was too proud of my new tent to submit

Nothing would save us. There was a mass exodus of people that showed up at 7 AM thinking this was the perfect weekend for mre and bowline knot training. The biker-campers even left in the middle of the night because “[their] nuts can’t breathe when Satan’s chokin’”.

Steps, bud. I have to make some money before I can do all the fancies. Leaf pack is next, followed by some bed storage or dual battery set up. @Steawy27 let me borrow his 65qt. Rtic and as much as I loved all of the food options, the wife is too short to help me unload the cooler with a bed mat and 3” bars.

Not the cheapest solution but this is what i use when camping. Runs both AC & DC power.
