Thank you sir. Time will tell if the adhesive lasts as long as the OEM ones. If not, will likely just debadge and be done.

From what I understand the franchisee embezzled a bunch of money and they went under. The stupid part is that the one up off 288 was a corporate store until the franchise came in; so we lost that one, too. That one had been profitable for years before the expansion.

Rusty Taco is my favorite over both of those.

Anyone had their windshield tinted? How much and where? Did you do any tint at all or just clear?

If you want to be able to routinely pass inspections, you're only able to get a sun strip at the top of the windshield. Theres a little mark on your windshield that if tint is below, you'll fail inspection. Tint places know this and will install the most you can have if you ask. but some people remove the tint for inspection and reinstall full windshield after passing and do that once a year. I just did the sun strip and called it a day.

When I was a kid I drove a clapped out '85 Fleetwood. I thought it would be cool to get 10% limo tint all the way around. The shop owner warned me and said "no refunds if it fails inspection." I didn't care. Fast forward 6 months, a bored state trooper pulls me in BFE, west of Odessa. He tells me to roll my window back up halfway, and breaks out some funky little gadget and spot measures the tint.

Not only did I get a ticket, but he also took the vehicle out of service by saying "you can have it towed to the nearest shop or you can peel it off right here, but it's not drivable until you get it fixed." Peeling tint on a summer day on the shoulder of I20, in the desert, was all the lesson my stupid punk ass needed. I don't push the limits with windows or lights anymore.

You can get it tinted with ceramic, which will decrease the heat transfer through the windshield. I recommend SML tint in Lewisville or North Texas Tint in Denton. NTT was a long time employee at SML who ventured off on his own. Both do excellent work at fair pricing.

I have a "brow" on my windshield. There are lines on the passenger and driver side indicating how far down you can legally tint.

Sounds like she needs to have a stronger grip. Sounds like she is absorbing too much recoil with a weak grip not allowing the round to eject all the way.

My first thought as well and told her just for kicks, to grip the crap out of it, she did and had the same results. No other polymer framed handgun has ever yielded that for her. Only glocks.

The grip angle can be “challenging” on Glocks... That’s one of the changes I’d make.

Limp wresting isn’t corrected by squeezing tighter, though. Body mechanics play a big part of it, buts hard to explain on a website.

I fully agree, but seeing how she has no problems with any other platform(the problem was only with glocks), compounded with the fact that I already hated the triggers, it was easy for me to get rid of them and get a new platform that both of us could shoot well.
