yeah, I planned on doing ceramic. I know full clear is legal, just didn’t know if doing the next step down would be a “it will get noted on hour inspection” or if it was more “yeah, the slightest of tint won’t be an issue”.

it is probably worth it regardless, but I think like a 95% would be perfect versus the 100%.

 

I won’t do that much work. I know you can do the whole thing in a clear tint, but was hoping to do whatever the next step down from full clear is, 95% or whatever. It’s probably still worth it for the clear though from a heat/IG perspective.

 

Are these emblems or overlays?

 

You can do the whole windshield if it is clear, but was curious if anyone had gone with a very very light tint or not. Sounds like clear or nothing is the answer though.

 

These are actual emblems. Took the old ones off and replaced with these. @Silverspool linked some overlays a few pages back but cant seem to find it now. I found out about the overlays after already purchasing the replacements or I would have gone the overlay route.

I had to put s1's in the back of my truck, the tints so dark I can't see anything at night unless it's lit up

 

I am getting 25% all around and 90% or 95% on the windshield. I cannot remember what the percentage was. It will be installed when my truck arrives. I use to do inspections along time ago and just a slight tint usually gets overlooked with everything else that has to be done. Just FYI don't tell the inspector you have tint and it will be most likely overlooked.

 

@imthejaybird I know right where that house is. I use to deliver in that area.

 

Where you getting it done?

 

The dealership I am purchasing from is having it done. I was able to get it thrown into the deal as well as some other stuff.

To save me from reading through 4859595 posts; who’s the go to for OVTune in the DFW area?

I’m new to tuning so any info would be helpful (tips, things to watch for, etc). Learning as I go!

Edit: I’m about 30 miles east of Dallas if that makes a difference on recommendations.
