I am putting together an event now in this thread:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/dfw-kdmax-tuning-event.716681/

Sign up if you want to commit - need 10 Tacomas to make it official.

I really should have posted that in the Texas region

With the tune you definitely do not need the throttle controller. Most definitely not. If you get tuned with the KDMax, sell that thing!

I admit I’m pretty clueless still on the various tunes, what is different about this one? I have an MT, so what would I gain/lose/change from adding your tune?

I'm gonna try to have someone with a tuned MT send you a PM so you can have direct experience tell you about it.

No worries man, MT = manual transmission, AT = auto trans. So a 'tuned MT' is simply a Tacoma with a manual transmission that is tuned

Are you still happy with your Vulcan? I’m looking at getting a TIG setup and trying to decide what to get.

Yes sir it has performed great with no issues. I need to get a foot control for the tig control. I’m more comfortable with it. It’s not much extra.
