Thats what my 4runner is for. But really, no lift or anything like that. Probably going to fab up some sliders with dimple die plates to double as steps, 31x10.5 tires and maybe a front skid plate. The deer lease and a friends ranch is probably the most off road duty it sees and that is nothing very extreme.

Looking for a TWE or hold until mutually convenient around Rockwall. I don’t want to drive 3 hours round trip for some 4R roof rack caps.

Wanted to toss these out here, my father and Jake Abbott from Overland expedition essentials just released these. These replace your valve stems for new ones with tire deflators. About to throw these on my rig, but figured I’d let others know about them too.

    https://overlandexpeditionoutfitters.com/products/apex-designs-3-0-rapid-precision-valve-set?fbclid=IwAR0kcuhs7rVfWqzDRNdplfc8f37SMBvNF2GPoFaanFIxArEtyhrmtW4gz1s

Here’s a video on how fast they work and how they’re installed. My father is the only authorized installer South of Utah. Contact Jake Abbott or The Tread Depot for more info.

:notsure: Other than "stay near the lake cause its gonna be hot," Not really. Ive driven through on my way up to the ouachitas.

The state park system is a minor PIA to book online (they have stupid 3 night minimum if you book a weekend), but their local parks are usually on recreation.gov, super easy, and actually pretty nice. I usually pull up what sites are available on one tab, while scoping on Google Earth in another tab.

    Gentlemen....

After Jamboree, I found that I am going to want to go ahead and upgrade my suspension. The Fox suspension on the pro is great but I just don't have the clearance to do much at Barnwell. Got close to high-centering on a couple of trails and I ended up backing out of them.

I talked to Tandem Offroad for a little when I was out there. I think they have been recommended here.

I'm still weighing my options but I'm looking to lift, maybe, about 2 to 2 1/2 inches. I want to keep the truck level, just like the pro comes from the factory. I will more than likely do the suspension install myself. I might get a CMC done but I'll have someone else do that. Not comfortable with doing the cutting and welding myself. UCA upgrade is also on the table.

Any suggestions, especially for the conditions that we find in Texas? The truck is a pro so I want to upgrade not just lift.
