I know this is the other direction, but I would like to do a Bridgeport visit with some folks. I have never been and I hear its a bit easier than Barnwell. If anybody is ever planning a day out there I would be game.

I'm curious also. I didn't have any problems when I was there in November.

Discount didn't have anything used in the size I need.

Anyone have a spare spare sitting around I can use for a week?

Needs to be 33"ish to match my 285/70/17's.

I only have the spare mounted under the truck. When i go to buy new tires i will have them mount the best old one on my spare. I may keep one more and try to find another rim to have 2 spares...

I think I have to work the weekend of the Barnwell trip. I have sliders and a skid plate on order, but won't arrive until late Jan/early Feb. I'll definitely be up for a trip out to Bridgeport after I get those.

Its honestly not that bad. I went out there with a few guys in this group, a couple of them were in stock tacomas, and everyone got out just fine. One person high centered on their steps but that was it. When its dry out there the green trails are a cake walk.

For sure, I've been out there twice but played in the mud and just hung out more than anything else. Last time I followed some jeeps on the easiest trails but didn't feel like risking damage on anything remotely difficult. A few scratches isn't bad, but don't want any dents...With a skid and sliders I'll be more willing to try the harder trails.

It's in marble falls TEXAS. Beautiful park but the maps they have suck. A lot of trails are not marked so you don't know what your getting into. The water was down when we went but it's great in the summer because you can jump in the "fall" to cool off. They are not very big but gets the job done. Other than the map it's a nice well maintained park.

We talked about going back, we picked July 4th weekend so it was busy and barely any camping spots left. Did you say your making it to Gilmer (barnwell) in January?
