Well my truck didnt get finished today. Apparently the way the drum cylinder exploded it has caused some issues with getting it put back together... Hopefully tomorrow morning they'll get it finished up.

Looking to remove my spacer/block lift. Looks pretty simple.

Any tips or words of advice before I start?

Bought the truck with spacers in the front and blocks in the rear about 2 years ago. I’m not entirely sure if the PO went the whole 9 yards or just slapped on some blocks/spacers.

Yeah, I’m hoping I’m right about there not being a lift kit on mine. It should be pretty easy to tell, right? I just either need to remove my lift or get better UCA’s because my tires are getting eaten up. Can’t get an alignment since my UCA’s are all stressed out.

About to put some new tires on, so I don’t want those to get eaten up too.

Typically if someones installed blocks they havent changed out to better struts. Few people ever do both. If you take a pic of your front strut we could tell if its stock coils or not. What do you want from an upgraded lift? mallcrawling/light offroading/high speed offroad? The biggest question is how much are you looking to spend?

if the spacer is just on top on the strut tower the it's pretty easy, 30-45 minutes per side. If it's one where the strut has to be removed then there is a trick to that. Send a pic worst case.

Lift blocks are an easy removal.

I drive 60+ miles a day to and from work. This is my daily driver which I plan on selling in the next year for something different (sadly). Either a sedan or a Miata lol. I’m not necessarily looking to upgrade, I just want to be able to get an alignment and not have my tires eaten up.

I’ll post a photo of my front strut in a few hours.

this is a 6" lift utilizing the OEM shocks/springs with a spacer. I'm about to upgrade to some Fox 2.5 for 6" lift and drop that awful block
