My truck’s is too. It’s showing 117° outside Goodlett. We’re headed to Palo Duro.

 

104 out here today

 

This is oppressively hot. No me gusta.

My truck said it was 106 in the shade at 2:30... If it could go down at least 20, that'd be great.

 

My work truck doesn’t have a/c. Snapped a picture before I locked the gate to leave.

Got mine a little over a week ago. Not like last year... Where there were no stickers until several weeks after the expiration.

I think they were a few bucks less this year than last year. Is that right or am I imagining things?

 

Its the same price as last year.

 

I've found a couple places so far. I know most of the national parks allow camping off the highways within 300' or so. I've also been looking around online for other people that have camped in similar areas along the route.

 

Well damn they are pretty fast!

 

Damn I'm an idiot... I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how to peel the front film off so I could stick it inside next to my registration... then I realized it goes outside.

 

Very few National Parks allow dispersed camping, they are almost exclusively designated camping sites only. Many National Forests allowed dispersed camping on certain roads but not all roads. Check the website of the National Forests you will be in to see what camping is allowed and any restrictions that may exist so you can enjoy public lands responsibly.
