I've thought about it. The one thing I know is I want a sub and I cant really do the OEM sub with no rear seat or cubbies. If I'm going to the point of adding speakers and a sub, I kinda want to go to an after market head unit and get Android auto(I think) but cant find a head unit that i really like. Theres one thats a great size for 3rd gens though it doesnt quite fit perfect which I think would bug me. Also the HU is like $900 which is about the same cost a new paint matched tailgate. I still havent taken the truck in to get a quote on fixing the passenger side doors.:anonymous:

I was thinking component in front aswell, the tweeter is directly above the lower door speaker. Since my budget isn’t tight I’ll definitely look into a 5 channel amp I think.

Meant to qoute you Jason lol.

My sub is completely hidden which I like lol but the main reason I’m wanting to upgrade everything, is because it’s blown. Plus I like this ride ALOT so I think it’ll be worth it even if I end up spending 2k on audio lol

I've thought about it and dont want to make a claim. I would rather pay once than potentially paying for years.
It can def be worth it. I could easily drop 3k+ and not regret it. Still may at some point, just not sure when it will make it higher on my list of purchases.

I’m thinking about doing it on a non icon setup as I have a loose uniball but my normal vendors are sold out and Icon has a 12ish week lead time.

My tires probably won’t turn too well with stockers in there.

Sounds like they would be better served on your truck then in a box

The UCAs have been on the truck for almost two years, the delta joints are in a box. Just gotta take time to do it.
