@trekker had one that seemed useful. Can't say 100% about the camera in this kit, but it looks like the same one.

Cameras are cool and all, but I prefer the "send it and hope" technique. Its a much lower cost up front. After the fact costs are debatable.

This is the main reason I bought mine. I'm hoping it will work for this as I have to park within inches of the back wall to fit my Taco in the garage.

A tennis ball and string would be cheaper. Apologies if my poorness is showing. :anonymous: #peasantstatus

I was about to suggest a golf ball on a string, a little more boujie, but same concept.

Don't want anything hanging down in the middle of my garage. We use it for all kinds of things aside from parking the truck and it would be in the way. Plus it can be useful in other parking situations, the garage is just my primary use.

I'm the weirdo that backs into my garage. Its much easier to get into that way, but unloading the bed is a PIA. :anonymous:

Y’all being all fancy with garages tall enough to fit a truck, and not full of your wife’s “projects”.

I prefer backing in as well, but easier to get in and out of truck when I pull in forwards due to how the layout is.

I can’t wait to move into a house with a better garage, but that’s still 2 years or so away.

Don't pretend that your garage is big enough to even fit a stock taco, you'd have to crawl out the window to get out

    It barely fit the Rav4.
Truck is too tall, and yeah, getting out would suck.
GX might barely fit, but it would be too close for comfort.

That works at your house, but in a parking garage that can be problematic. Depth perception is problematic unless you work out how your angling and positioning of the camera and how you judge your approach to objects. That's part of why I got mine; another part was entering the garage which was on an incline and the front camera allowed me to make sure I was clearing the mechanism turning into the garage.
Also has the benefit of giving at least some awareness of what is forward of the truck but maybe concealed from the FOV on an crest.
