DFW BS Thread : ********NEW MEET!! CHECK POST #1*******

CA is definitely the best place to be homeless. They run everything. I have an entire encampment at the end of my street. I’m looking to transfer to a position in Irving, however there are other states in the works so it’s not set in stone.

 

I hear Arizona is nice this time of year….

 

Everyone should move to Texas so nobody can afford anything and we can all be homeless

 

Thats not a lie. Coworker and I got lost driving through SF/Oakland. Pulled over to consult the GPSesesssesses and he lowered a window. "I smell pee." Look to our right and see about 40 homeless people staring at us. Considering we were driving a $70,000 car that didnt belong to us, we rolled the window back up and booked it.

 

70k car huh? that could be a 4runner right now

I was out at Freeman earlier today, had 1 Tacoma on the lot, that was shocking to see an empty new car lot

 

This was 2019 and we were driving a rented 2019 BMW M4 CS.

 

If you're not dead set on leaving CA and like SD- look into Fallbrook or the northern SD area. It's not the cheapest place to live, but the school districts are still decent and is mostly still rural/undeveloped.

 

Also, is anyone else getting hammered with dealers wanting to buy their truck? Freeman and Toyota of FW keep emailing/texting me.

 

dude freeman has ZERO cares, even inside.... i walked inside yesterday and i asked where all the cars are and the salesman said, you tell me

 

We tried fallbrook and even all the way out to Menifee. We have wanted to leave California for the longest time, but my wife was battling cancer the last few years so it forced us to stay, now she is pregnant and doing good so it’s time to leave now.

If you can check out some of the potential places you're interested in and see what area you like the most. I'm in Grapevine and so far it seems like a nice town. Whether you end up in this area or another state best of luck to you. And congrats on the new baby.

Hit some ice on the 20 this morning, then watched a car spin and get hit by a big rig. Be safe out there guys!

 

Glad to hear she's doing better, and congratulations on being a Dad! Save your pennies of you're heading to DFW. It's getting more and more expensive to live out here.

 

Yep. Watched 4 cars on 121 this morning make a valid attempt at figure skating, failed to stick the landing though.

 

I'm planning on it.
