That would definitely be a unique look

I’m not sure if I like it or hate it, but it’s definitely fitting.

I hate dealers. Brought my truck in for the 3rd brake light recall today because it started leaking the last time it rained. Now they are now trying to claim it was done the last time I had my truck here for the a/c fix when they told me they couldn't do it because I had a topper on the bed. :annoyed:

*Update: The dealer said they will get it replaced at no cost to me due to "what happened previously"...(AKA they lied and claimed to have done work while charging corporate for it). Now the parts on back order after they scheduled me to get it done today so I have to wait for the back ordered part to come in. So some day it will get done, maybe.

    No, I wouldn’t.

For instance, your 4wd hubs are held together by the outer stub shaft of your CV.

You could if you bought some cheap 2WD unit bearings. Otherwise no unfortunately. Could lose a wheel.

Not sure if this is the place to ask but i bought my tacoma a couple months ago. My first thing on my build is to do a lift and buy a set of tires/wheels. Any recommendations where to get this done? im not too mechanically incline but want a pretty good job.

What part of DFW are you in?
What do you want to do with the truck?

Do you plan on off roading? Rock crawling, over landing, mall crawling? What your going to use the truck for will dictate how you build it. And what is your budget?

I would go with a Bilstein 5100 or 6112 adjustable coil over up front that can give you adjustable lift and then either upgrade your leaf springs or get an add. Leaf, shock surplus sells a whole kit to get you that 2.5 inch lift. That's the best budget option and It will give you a general idea of what's going on.
