Seriously. It's like every 20 minutes here.

 

We live in a brand new neighborhood, so it’s double trouble for us - routine services sign up + repair services. There are neighborhood signs posted and people have their own at their addresses, but nothing stops them.

Same companies (minus the emergency repair guys), different sales people. Police won’t do anything unless it’s a repeat individual, but they usually quit or get relocated and it’s on to the next naive solar/water treatment/gang bang/gutters/lawn care salesman.

 

It's similar where I live too (Frisco area). I've even gotten text messages. And, shockingly, some were even for me.

It's crazy.

 

Anyone know if there's a visual inspection part to the yearly inspection? Been debating on throwing some long tube headers in the taco, but not sure if it's worth the hassle.

 

I doubt my inspector would care either way.

 

Just tell them you rent and are not the owner.

 

I've never seen them perform a visual inspection. Just has to pass smog.

 

Might have to make my way to Fort Worth if I get them then.

 

I've never really paid attention, when I get it done, usually just walk away to the lobby and wait lol I'm due in a couple of months so I'll get the chance to see if they just hook it up and check for codes and that's it.

I guess I missed a bit. I did my 6th and final road trip out to Vegas and my dad's house closes in the next week.

I should have gone to the last Rigs and Coffee. It just didn't happen for me.
