Depends on traffic. I work in Irving. Usually though it's around 4PM, maybe 4:30.

Yeah, that'd be pretty sweet. I do have a wedding I have to attend towards the end of the month. Just depends on what day it is I guess.

Get some 8 & 12-16 gauge stranded copper wire. 100% copper is the best, the cheap stuff isnt 100%. You will need a thick 8 gauge wire to run power to the blue sea box. (2ft gives you room to play) Then you will need lots of 12-16 gauge wire to run power to your lights/toys.

I read a few how-to's that said to use 4 gauge wire. Is that overkill?

Not at all if you are only using 4 gauge to go from the battery to the fuse block. I would say its ok to go with a 6 gauge if you are concerned with the thickness.

I have a short 4 gauge wire that was used for an old stereo setup that im going to use. But i also plan to have a winch, lights, air compressor, power inverter, etc.... Not sure how many amps im going to be pulling... I also have a power hungry stereo system that will be fighting for power.

Maybe i should go with dual battery so i can run my accessories off the 2nd battery.... hmmmmm

Insulated is better for sure! They also make water proof connectors if you want to get fancy! :D

Yeah, depending on what I plan on using, I may up the gauge of wire. I'm Prerunner, so probably no winch for me.
