So would you use something like this:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/121878628282

To connect the battery to the blue sea fuse block?

I can't find any pictures of the set up right now. Went with the all products offroad dual battery kit with dual optima yellow tops and I got the controller out if a group buy. The battery's cost was the largest hit. Off the top of my head I can not remember any of the numbers. I will get some pictures tonight when I get out of my work truck.

I will say I have ever been able to run my fridge from almost 48 hours in June before the low battery alarm started to beep at me. The truck started right up and I had a fun charge on the auxiliary battery by the time I got to work. About an hour drive

Yeah that would work. You could probably get a short cable built at a local car audio shop for a decent price. They usually have spools of cable they use for installs. I know for sure that car toys has them, and their prices are not that bad for the cable. They should be able to put a couple wire terminals on there for you also. This maybe the cheaper route.

But if you just want to do it yourself, like me, then this terminal should work. Just make sure you get a good crimp on the wire, good wire crimps are worth it if you do your own projects often.

Well, I looked for 4 AWG insulated crimpers, but anything past 5 is stupid expensive. I maybe do a 6 gauge for the battery connectors.

Ive gone that route many times, most of the time it was fine, sometimes i had to replace it after some time. Also most of the time, with a bit of a pull the wire would come out of the terminal.
With a crimper i have never had to replace a terminal and ive always had to cut the terminals off.

if not they you can always cut the terminal off and crimp on a new one.
