    Haha Thanks man!

I have been pretty busy these past few days. Our sales guys decided to do some work so now i have some work to do!

I did get my truck and had an issue with the dome light staying on. Some how the ground wire i ran was getting ground somewhere. It was tapped into the dome light ground, and has been for over a year. Long enough that 3 of the 5 LED strips i installed burned out... Not how it was turned over to the repair shop, so i had to rip out all the wiring i ran and had a electrician make sure there was no longer a draw on the battery on the repair shops dime.

    So far so good... :fingerscrossed:
It just stopped raining in Plano, go a light drizzle for a few minutes. Nothing crazy.

I contacted Baja about my lights, i ordered wide/cornering and received driving/combo lights, they said the difference is only the lenses and they are sending me the wide/cornering lenses for free! :headbang:

I want to black out my head lights and install projectors so bad! I just dont want to shell out the money to have it professionally done! haha

I will check back and see how it turned out for you.

That sounds like a good plan sir! I would like to go camping now that i have my truck back!

So now i have to decide if i want to spend money on a winch next or do i want to start working on the electrical setup?

Was thinking Bussmann but i want to put a spreadsheet together outlining the cost for each setup.

    Im thinking for sure...
    Dual battery tray
another battery probably Optima to match
    0 gauge wiring
    Mounting pannel
    Circuit breaker

    depending on cost...
Bussmann (prebuilt with fused and relays)
    switch panel
    switches
    switch backs
    16-18 gauge wiring

    or...
    Switch pros

    or...
    Smittybilt X20 10k winch w/synthetic

That is a hard one there.... since I already have switches and such, I am going to get a Bussman system pretty soon to clean up all my wiring. Was looking at a Off Grid Engineering dual battery setup... but those are pricy pricy but well built.

I like the Bussman system since it has the fuse block and the relays as well so I can have stuff hooked up that is not needing a switch.

Oh yeah i would want to do that anyway, but it will end up being more than just the winch. Not buy much though.
Yeah i need to get prices for all that stuff...

Maybe you can help me out...
How much did you end up paying for all your switches, switch backs, and switch panel?

Is there anything that you know of that i am missing for the electrical install?

Ummmm not sure pricing, I would have to look later and see what I paid for like the switch backs, switches, the panel and such.

Just the future trailer mod. Thanks for the rims
Just wear that leather vest and banana hammock in confidence and the guys will start slipping you dollars and drinks. You'll be fine at the new job and I'm sure they don't care how you dance
Winch, lights and other bullshitdon't do a bit of good when your stuck. Seriously look at doing a batt upgrade. I almost did dual battery's but after talking to a guy for a few hours that over lands 3 weeks at a time he said his setup failed and just spent money on 1 good battery and he hasn't looked back. Only other batt I will run will be on the trailer for misc shit that I dont need

Anyone with an 8.4 rear end want to trade for an elocker rear? Thinking about regearing and doing an air locker and would prefer to do it with the bigger rear end. Swap full axle

Thanks. I was just reading through the posts and it was an interesting (tempting) thought for a moment. I know eventually I'll get ARB and lockers, so I'm better off just sticking with the 8.4.

I've decided to go down to 1 spare tire so now I have my original 265/70/16 rugged trail on the 16in steel spare sitting around. Any of yall looking for one?

Not posted in TX classified yet as meeting 1/2 way to Dfw is about as far as I'll go.

If you got the 8.4 go ARB, it's instant on and off no computer to wait on. Same with the t case. Can't wait until I go manual.
