To have someone fab a bumper is not going to be cheap by any means.

 

Yeah the cheapest bumpers ive seen are DIY kits from Relentless, however Relentless no longer does their DIY kits..

 

You have to have 1 relay per aux device correct? Except for LED lights like bed kit lights?

 

I'm like 15 minutes from there but I need to change out an alternator Saturday.

 

Ok so bring it out to the meet and change it there!

Tom's Southside Alignment in Arlington. Charges about $50 and still uses old school gauges. No fancy electronic crap. Does great work and is my first choice.

 

Im building my Relentless rear bumper tomorrow! I have to take it home to grind on it though, will probably take me a few days to grind down the rear, and get all the rust off the front. After that its off for powder coating!

 

Who are you using for powdercoating and what are they charging you? My new bumper is coming in soon and trying to decide my options

 

It's a daily driver with 87k with heads, cam etc. a cammed car with an underdrive pulley can kill a stock alternator pretty easily. Daily driving cars hard like I do puts a beating on them. I built the car to enjoy. I beat on it daily, when it breaks, I fix it.

Something tells me these Tacomas are no better...month 3 my truck was at the dealer for failed audio. Nevermind all the trans issues they have etc...

 

Come on and bring your tools. It's not on top of the motor. I'll give ya $50 to do it...

 

Twas a joke, I spend a lot of time fixing stuff of my truck that break and wear out from the abuse I subject it to

 

I wasn't upset, just clarifying.

 

Just for simplicity anything I add it gets put on a relay, keeps all the electricity outside the truck

 

It cant be any worse than my 02 camaro SS was.

 

But cabin fires are cool
