What's your opinion on mounting the bike to the front?

    Front of the truck?

I mean, it would actually be pretty nice for trips I think, that way would free up the hitch for a cargo carrier and free up the space on the roof rack for other stuff.

Gave an edit to my previous post.

But it could work depending on how you mounted it, but I could see it working.

I have thought about trying to modify my bike rack to include some extra lighting on it that would connect to the trailer harness, would be used solely for brake lights just to make the black rack stand out more at night when braking. But my trailer harness is destroyed and don't feel like replacing it...

What's the value on your bike rack that they are "replacing"?

The 45w should be fine i did the sylvania 886 bulbs about 2yrs ago and they are 50w bulbs and have not had a problem with them.

Knowing full well that tomorrow is Father's Day and most of ya'll probably have better things that you should (will) be doing, if there's anyone who wants to come by Allen in the morning before it's 99 degrees outside and assist me in putting a rear bumper on - I can't promise beer, but I can get my lovely wife working on some amazingly good coffee and have some breakfast tacos on hand.

Bunkhouse reserved for the night of June 30th and July 1st out at Barnwell.

So if anyone else wants to join, come on out! My bunkhouse will be full as it only holds 4max including myself, but there are some others open still and are $100 for both nights, or just camp out somewhere.

Going to try and spend all day Saturday wheeling as much as I can and just getting away from it all!

I've turned my front mudflaps into swiss cheese - cut two clearance holes in the upper sections to improve tire clearance and I chopped about 2" off the bottom. Not quite as short as the Husky flaps I've got. Broke three clips ripping them off, so will probably leave them off for a few days till I can get replacements. Will still probably take it by Firestone for an alignment adjustment for a bit more clearance if possible. Didn't expect rub with UCA's and only 265/75r16s

What's uca's? There is a good thread on here that describes adjusting aftermarket uppers for caster vs clearance. Basically max out caster on the lca and then fine tune with upper for clearance at the cost of some caster
