@ETXTacoma I have a vacuum pump and A/C gauges you can use if you want to service the A/C yourself.

This happened yesterday doing the brake rotors and pads... got if fixed, and then happened on the other damn side of the truck!

Got it fixed and right now no leaks or anything that I can tell, but had to bleed the front brakes and everything and thankfully had a bottle of brake fluid at the house on hand since it went everywhere...

But here is a before and after of the new EBC Green Stuff pads and Rotors installed.

    Truck stuff
How much later this year? Been thinking about ordering one probably after skids which will probably be soon. Saving gas money since I'm not driving the truck until the air is fixed.

I did an evac and recharge a couple years ago on the Supra. It was a lot easier than I thought. I never fixed the leak, so it's due for another charge. If the freon is just low, you can get one of those EZ recharge cans with the hose and gauge attached. Does your A/C compressor still click on but blows warm air?

The AC compressor works as it blows kinda cold air from my drivers side left vent, everything else is warm

I need to know what hose is leaking though so I can replace it as I don't want to mess with this every year or so.

Yeah, cold air on one side is pretty common when the freon level is low. You wouldn't need to evac the system until you lose all pressure in the lines. You can buy freon with dye in it to find the leak but you have to use the gauges to charge with that. I also have the glasses and black light flashlight to look for the leak. Personally I'd use one of the cheap DIY cans to recharge it a bit until you get the major problem fixed. Its too hot to be driving around with no A/C.

The dealership was kind enough to put more freon in it after I got pretty pissed off at them for saying it would take at minimum of 12 hours to know the goodwill answer which was submitted Friday at noon... found out at 4:00pm today that it was declined because it is so far out of warranty (4 months since end of Feb)... which pisses me off since it had a leak last year under warranty and they just found the leak on Friday now that the dye was put in it in June 2016 and the AC had gone out again. Like they know that there is a leak in it... which was there since last year or it would not have stopped blowing cooled last year as well. Hell, I should have brought it in to the dealership back in February before the certified warranty was up but hell, didn't think about it since the AC wasn't being used in February.

So they know where the leak is or you still have to go back so they can check for the dye?

They know where the leak is, they found it on Friday when they looked at the system.

Good luck getting it fixed. I know how much it sucks not having AC in Texas. I have a little experience with automotive AC so let me know if I can help.
