I think i need to get a new front tire, I think i have a torn it the rubber somewhere that keeps putting small holes in my new tubes. I located the hole and tried to find the thorn from where the tube was and i can not find it. I patched the small hole and the next day its sitting on the front rim again....:frusty:

My issue is that when i climb I the front wheel keeps wanting to come off the ground, yet if I lean forward to much, my rear wheel does not get enough traction.

Side note: A friend that lives in DFW that has rode with @Geremy said he would be down to join us at Grapevine for some trails as well. He is a Jeep owner though...

Just comes with more time in the saddle. You'll figure out how to position your weight to get the best of both. What size wheel are you on?

I tried, I dont think i rode it soon enough/ long enough to get a good seal. I can go tubeless with my setup, however its not tubeless specific.

I know where some sweet jumps are!

My cheese grater is being taken off this weekend. The plastdip had held me over for 8 months but I found a grill I like for a good price a couple weeks ago! The pro grill is to much for plastic but does look good

yeah there are snakes out there. I run into the sometimes during the summer. I have ran into more snakes at grapevine than there though.

Grapevine is better though... larger, more trails, more difficult in places, etc.

I looked at @Silverspool's and didn't like the way bumper met the lower fender lines. Not a problem if you're going HC, but the standard had a significant gap. I emailed Pelfrey asking if that was normal and the response was that it was. Reasoning was to give a bit of protection to the sheet metal if you came down right on that corner. Valid reason to be sure, but I couldn't get past it ascetically. After doing some research, the Brute Force Fab was the design that matched the contour of the truck the best. Relentless was a fairly close second, but I didn't care for the 'R' cutouts in the corners. I will say I really liked the look of the Pelfrey from the back, but the Brute Force Fab with the flush mount light option instead of pods as I ordered it - looks very similar from that position and doesn't have the gaps.
