That's true. There were more fights the one time I went.

I think the problem for me was that I went with the expectation that is was a semi-pro league. I had bigger expectations, so seeing that it felt like a glorified high school gymnasium left me kind of disappointed. They have an amateur league that plays AFTER the Brahmas....what sporting event is the main show not the last show.....I mean, come on... "Come for the main event, but stay for the other games afterward."

Speaking of small venues. You should probably head over to the Will Rogers Center next time the rodeo is in town. It's a little bigger and the crowd is way more into it.

I feel like I'm bashing the Brahmas. I'm not. If you haven't gone before, you absolutely should. Just go with low expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised.

The teams that play after are beer league that are just happy to have ice time at 10pm. Brahmas are junior league hockey, basically the equivalent of AAU basketball.

We left after the Brahmas. My neighbor is a die-hard hockey guy and he says the ones after the Brahmas are way better. I didn't stick around to see, so I have no frame of reference.

Kind of like Donnie from the Big Lebowski.

Ended up on Tail of the Dragon in NC last week. I opted for the 'longer route' selected by Google Maps instead of going back through the hell-hole that is Pigeon Forge on the way out of NC - which put me on one of the twistiest roads in the country. 318 turns in 11 miles.
