So Padre was pretty fun this weekend and a bit more difficult then I was expecting. Luckily I only got stuck once the sand was like sugar and the 60 mile stretch took like 3.5 hours to do. Not to mention the new bumper is on, but has to be taken back off to add the stuff that didnt get added because it was 3 days late coming from powder coating. Here it is though and rear to match not quite as dramatic pic though.

No, don't know why the option to be able to mass upload went ahead, but now you have to upload each one, one by one...

If anyone says cutting off and doing aftermarket shackle hangers is not hard... is a damn liar.

That project was worse that swapping the front diff...
    IMG_2409.jpg

It was at this moment, where I was mentally checked out and done with the entire project and I just wanted to be done, and I still had the driver side hanger to remove...

    IMG_2424.jpg

But the project is done with major help and major thanks to @Zac of all trades and his stepdad who I am pretty sure had ZERO idea what he was getting himself into on a Sunday... so did I... but it is done.

Did you have to drill new holes after removing the stock hardware?

Yes and no, all the holes in the frame have to be drilled to fit the new bolts, so they have to be 1/2" holes. They are close, but not big enough, so just have to drill them out a little bit. A good step bit would have worked a lot better now that I think about...

I did not have to drill out the holes in the bushings for those bolts like you sometimes do with some leaf packs.

I would say ARB, just because I have not heard of the Roam brand much.

    Same here.

Looks like a good tent, so I don't see why it would not be bad purchase to be honest.

I haven't looked into the roams but a few things I think since having an rtt. You will get condensation in your tent, an anti condensation mat is not something I would go without. Arbs quick close bungee system seems really helpful though I've never used it, @Zac of all trades can probably give first and experience since he has one. The handles to assist existing the tent sound nice but it shouldn't be hard to fab up your own, I may do it with mine but don't really have any issues getting out.
