For the 3rd gen guys who had the window rubber seals make noise, when you got them replaced did you pay for labor? Longo is requesting we pay the labor on the TSB. Is this normal?

What tie down point are on the rails of your bedslide? They look way better than the crappy little ones on mine.

Haven't had it done but paying for labor on a TSB seems wrong. I have heard another member on here say the same thing though. To me they are fixing a problem from parts Toyota installed not fixing something you've caused. How much are they charging for labor? Could you get the new seals and do it yourself?

Figured it was something like that. They probably would fit our rails.

It’s not a lot, it’s more about the principle , we’ve been trying to get it done for over a year. Patt Lobb could never replicate it, or course. That dealer was fucking garbage. Denton said they didn’t have time even though we scheduled the damn appointment two weeks in advance. So long before regular warranty was out weve been trying.

They want $65. Again, it’s not much. I don’t know what the seals cost however.

Are you talking about the outside seals around the window? My window catches on something occasionally and pops. Never pay $ for a TSB, it’s Toyota’s baby.

The loud wind noise runner trim inside, that “kazoo” noise. Both front windows do it.

I totally get the principle of it and agree. Maybe it could be helpful to open a ticket with Corporate and see what they say? As far as Pat Lobb, F them and there service department. I went there 1 time for my included maintenance and to get a few minor things checked/done under warranty and they fed me so much crap I wont go back. I've had much better luck with Toyota of Plano and want to try out Toyota of Rockwall because I've heard a lot of good things about them but Plano is only 10 minutes from my work.

It’s all for my brother’s wedding.
He’s stationed in Germany, so I’m pretty happy to have him home. Last time he came to visit I was deployed to a sandy place.
Yes, they’re nice, don’t think they’re cross compatible though. They are beefy enough to keep my RTIC 65 from bouncing around when I make questionable driving decisions.

I sent those to @Zac of all trades on Insta, but he ignored me....

    Rude....

Was out sick yesterday, have a bad upper respiratory infection, only reason I am work today is that I am getting a new roof on the house plus gutters, so that is the last place I want to be today...
