I'm coming and the boat will be there as long as I can find time to go get the tags before then. Probably won't be there until 4pm or so since I'm working that day. Unless schedule changes before then which is highly likely.

Everyone, I have a dilemma right now. Just got a call back after putting in the reservation for Lynn Creek. They said that due to the recent rain, it has flooded the park and they wont open until july. I want everyone's input now because I still want a meet/bbq at a lake. They said that we can go to Loyd park over on the other side of Joe Pool. Loyd park has swimming area, dock, etc. Not as nice as lynn creek.

Another spot could be Lake Arlington over off Poly Webb Rd and Shorewood Dr. They have boat ramp, fishing, bbq spot, no need for reservation, big parking lot. Only problem is no swimming.

If anybody here knows any other places, feel free to voice it. we can take a vote. would still like to continue the meet/bbq but cannot be at lynn creek. sorry everyone. i'll change the address and info once we decide. sorry again but I cannot control mother nature.

Lake arlington is only a few min from my house but I would rather not go there. Fishing sucks and since its a free city park a lot of rif raf comes and goes.

I say we stick to somewhere on Joe Pool. But I'm willing to drive to wherever. My two go-to's for fishing are Richland Chambers and Tawakoni. But that's a bit of a drive most people won't want to make.

There are 3 parks at joe pool. Lynn Creek, Loyd Park, and Cedar Creek. I have not been to all of Cedar Creek area, Loyd is ok. Lynn Creek is the best of them.

What about Cedar Hill State Park? I know they have a couple of group pavilions but I think they have to be rented. Not sure how much it costs. That would give people the option of camping overnight if they wanted to as well. Assuming there's available spots and the park isn't still flooded. I haven't looked into it any.

Also, there's no boat ramp at Loyd Park. Only one on that side of the lake is Lynn Creek. And if they'll be closed then that's no good. May just have catch fishies another day.

Edit: Nevermind, it looks like they do have a boat ramp.
