Looks good! You should put some hinges on that hood so you can access the battery easier

I dunno what you’re talking about. Those tires are just getting sticky! No bondo. Just tamaya putty. It’s already there. The more I look at it. It will be a challenge to do a hood and have it secured without using hood pins. Might be ok if can get them small enough to look like real hood pins, otherwise, body pins on a hard body seems like blasphemy.

Also, have some CI single stage closed cells coming in for the bouncer so I put the 5.5” CI dual stage foams in the crawler. Was running 5” in firm (rear), 5” in Med (front), and now they’re Med (rear) and soft (front), but 5.5” so they’re much more firm. Will have to see if better or worse.

Can you find a place to mount a couple magnets? You can get some pretty small neodymium magnets that should be strong enough to keep the hood from flipping open it you take a tumble.

That and Velcro are the two things that initially came to mind. Would still need to come up with a “lip” for hood to rest on to keep level with fenders. I still have one rare earth magnet I got from you. Was considering using it just to keep the front end from swiveling back. Trying to see how it would turn out, uncertainty is why I went ahead and just attacked an abused cab instead of new. Turned out better than expected. I 50/50 figured it may end up in the trash lol.

Just glue some leftover strips of lexan along the inside of the fenders. Or maybe see if you can find a lexan engine bay and cut and fit to your hardbody. Magnets can go under the lexan and would probably still be strong enough to keep the hood down.

I wonder if it's 1/4" thick lexan like your Dodge body.

Bouncer got her new foams, added tuning discs on outside of all 4 corners, rebuilt all the shocks with heavier fluid (45 front/ 55 rear) and yellow springs on the tekno SCT shocks. She’s ready to blast some hills. :D:D:D

On a side note, ordered a KNK Monster Bag screw kit and it’s got anything you’ll need length wise and they’re all sorted in labeled bags. Super convienient lol.
