I'm good with noon. Charging batteries now. Duck creek? I think it's better for the 1/24's

Took the diff out of the 24, and gave it and the worm gear to Dave. Will be another week before he goes back to work, but hopefully he can get the dims down and come up with an overdrive/underdrive setup. Not sure if it can be done, but sure would be cool! Only pics I got yest was of the 24.

Got bored. Puttied and chromed the crack where I cut the bumper down, and added a fairlead. Came out pretty nice. Waiting on new winch controller, hopefully can utilize old winch/mount and run it off ch3.

I ordered another GT3c flysky remote... hopefully my wheels will stop tweaking out on me! :woot::woot:

I mean for twice the price i could be running an SCX24... maybe i should have went that route.

I think the SCX24 is neat because it's so small, but it won't ever be as much fun as a 1:10, which also isn't as much fun as crawling in a 1:1. Building the model body like John did is probably the more fun part of owning an SCX24. It just doesnt like to stay wheels down. I like mine as a backup crawler, but am not planning to make too many changes to try making it more capable.

Have you added any brass to try to make it stay planted?

I put the brass hex/wideners on it. The wider stance helped make it a little more stable on sidehilling, but didn't do much for climbs and descents. I'm sure I could throw another $200 and it would be better, but I'd still rather take the TRX4 out.

Yeah not really selling me on one... I mean they are cool and easy to transport, but if they just roll over all the time it doesnt sound like much fun.
