so only the tires came in yesterday...

i checked shipping and i should be able to do the rear 4 link tonight, but everything else i need will be here on the 4th.

 

Anyone want to meet up this saturday around 12 noon to crawl?

I think that the short track trucks should race at the pump track at katy jackson.

There are also jumps out there if you send your truck over some doubles!

Looks like Shannon won out so im setting the crawl meet at Buffalo Ridge Park at 9 am Dec 10th.

The entrance that we use is right off beach street, if you are going north from 820 it is on your right. You will see a sign with an arrow for Buffalo Ridge Park at Fossil Creek Blvd, DO NOT turn here, keep going a little bit and you will see a wooden sign for Buffalo Ridge Park, turn in there.

 

I might be able to make it over there tomorrow for a little bit.

I am selling my dirt bike around 10-11 so i will head over there after that.

Ive had this thing for a week and already doing mods... I feel like upgrading the steering rack and tires are the best first mods to do! That plastic steering rack is awful!
1st was beadlocks and bigger tires, added some weights while i was at it...

Got the front steering rack installed! Aluminum servo horn, and an ebay steering rack and knuckles because they are green.

Finished up the front 4 link! Installed an aluminum 4 link mount on the front.

How did those tires work? Did you do wheel weights?

 

The tires worked awesome! Taller and wider than stock and pretty soft! Just need to run next to @Silverspool so i can compair them to the j concept ruptures. Ruptures are taller so i want to see if that makes that much of a difference.

And yes i used wheel weights...

Haha. not really man. If you look at the picture where i have all my parts laid out you can see that there are not many screws in the wheels, i spent probably 1.5 - 2 hours threading all those screws. Putting the tires on the wheels took about 10 minutes.

 

So who is planning to attend the RC meet before the truck meet?

I plan to be there. It will be the first real test with the new steering upgrades!
