    I guess my question is why is there a rule on the size of tire? I mean cant you just make a class for that??

    Ok that makes since... but i still think there should be a class that allows them. I mean im thinking about running some ag tires when my showdowns ware down next. Been watching truck night and the guys with the ag tires have done well!

    Of course those are just the SORCCA rules for competitions, so there's no reason you can't have some for our regular crawling and switch back to your Showdowns for comps. The local RC Diehard League seems to be loose with the rules, but not sure if they use the same banned tire list.

    They don’t go off banned tires at the diehard, but it still has a 4.75” limit for class 2 unlimited.
