If it's an East TX Crawlers event then they probably have all the dumb rules we don't like.

    Not I. If I drive all the way to barnwell, it’s 10% 1/10, and 90% 1:1. :hattip:

    Canon 5D mkI with a Sigma 85mm 1.4 DG

Thinking about getting something made in this decade though, maybe a Canon M50 for its size and weight.

More upgrades for the TRX4. Overdrive in front and underdrive in the rear. Also rebuilt the shocks with 40wt oil. Need to get back out to White Settlement to test that first hill.

I've been looking at servo winches, so I can possibly attach it to the bumper mount under the shell and move the steering servo back to the stock location. Then I don't have to have a huge bumper out front to hold the winch. This one looks alright

Hellz yeah! Going to be a beast rig! I see you took the rack off...

I still need to buy a bunch of parts for both my rigs! Want to get new wheels/foams/tires, desert lizard shocks, faster pinion/spur gear, and a ton of brass for the trx. Probably once i sell my old 1/1 wheels and tires....

Not sure if i want to over/under drive it as it turns way better than Slaughter already and im ok with it so far.

I want to get Slaughter back up and running because i was happy with the stuff i was doing with that rig. Plus its super light and i think that plays a lot into the roll overs...

Kinda waiting till i get some more stuff done to the trailer though. Just dropped $400+ on my solar setup. Now its on to interior cabinets! and then the rear hatch!

You might be surprised how well my TRX performs now. We haven't gone crawling together in awhile. You might drive mine before you decide if you really want a "ton of brass". There's no way my SCX will do anything close to what the TRX does.

I put the winch back on last night and it might shift my weight balance too far forward. But the stock bumper sits higher than the one I cut up. I need to run with both bumpers and see how they affect it.

Well i want to get the weight out of the wheels and over the axles. The truck is already heavy so im going to start with brass hubs and knuckles up front along with the brass bumper, see how that goes... maybe a brass diff cover. Also need the shocks to see how it does with the extra weight and i will go from there.

Get the weight as low as possible but also add as little as possible, i went overboard on my scx and it climbed like shit in dirt.

Skip rotational weight, add it low and wide like portal covers and c hubs. Run a smaller battery or get an lcg mount. Stiffen the shocks up.

We took our modded rigs and ran em back to back with our stock/mostly stock rigs snd it was definitely noticeable how different they were.

If you want to keep your scx i highly recommend going to ar44 axles.
