I have two Creality Ender 3 Pros. If you want a commercial one check out Prusa. Also, you may want more than one considering how long prints take.

As far as upgrading an OG SCX10 axle, you can go for the Narrow XR Mod Beef Tubes, modified universals, wraith c hubs and knuckles. The "Narrow" XR mod is stock SCX width. It would get you more weight and better steering in the front. It is not a cheap option and doesn't do anything for the huge pumpkin, though. Rear can be left as is, but you can get standard Beef Tubes, brass lockouts or hexes to add some weight. You can also always add weight to the wheels if needed.

So with a stock SCX10II.....what would be my main concern with running 3s? Plastic driveline? Motor?

overheat the stock brushed motor probably pretty quickly, i never ran one but have seen plenty fail

if u do run 3s for more power and burn rhe motor up look at reedy or holmes hobby 12t 5 slots as replacement, fairly inexpensive and rock solid motors

or join the dark side and take it as an opportunity to go brushless

    castle mamba x with a slate 2280kv
Hobbywing AXE FOC with a Hobbywing AXE 2300kv motor

Either are around 200 bones but chances are never have to replace either.

The axe system is bluetooth but the 540 size system lacks punch that some people want, im running the 550 size 2700kv system in one of my rigs for more torque.

the castle system is rock solid, both jim and I mainly run those, need a castle link adapter to hook it to PC to tune some of the esc parameters though

Castle also offers a separate bluetooth module. It allows full adjustability of settings and throttle curves from your phone. Ive thought about getting one, but at $50, the USB connection ($25 castlelink) to a laptop has been fine.

It should also be mentioned that the Hobbywing Axe ESC can only be used with a Hobbywing Axe motor. The Castle can be used with many different brands of motor.

@Zac of all trades if your girl wants a rc drifter, this ain't a bad deal. Same chassis that Frank has (4wd).

I still have to get her behind the stick of a crawler RC first! Trying to get her to come out to Bridgeport for the event. Would be a cool place to get her first run in!

i need a new body soon, need an interior to be able to mount the sub.

Or just add some magnets inside of the enclosure and then on the body. You know incase the conditions are wet...

Got the smt10 built, was supposed to be a simple build but got a little out of hand. 4 wheel steering, locked rear end, upgraded links all around, neat lil build.

Yeti is fixed, her driveshaft didnt last long with the new 4300kv power plant, hope the new one lasts longer.

You guys are a bad influence on me. Or I’m easily influenced... I’m going with the 1st one... I down loaded plans today for a scale rock bouncer cage and have already figured out how I’m going to build a rod bender. Now I need to find a TIG welder I can borrow.
