All my cars are on the Spektrum remote, but if you're not afraid to bring her around us, i can bring my cars out sometime. I've got the RWD plus 2 different 4wd, although they're not as drift ready as Frank's.

 

Stoked for this weekend! Planning on heading out to Bridgeport Friday morning. May end up camping/sleeping in the truck, Friday night, if I commence day drinking. Park gates are open all weekend. Looks like around 40 entries for the rc bouncer comp!

 

I'm going Saturday only, but would expect to be there early. You better drink a lot, because its gonna be in the 30's Friday night. I was going to try to get to the TX4WD meeting Friday night and can hopefully get my hoodie I paid for.

 

ooh Fridays meeting is in Hurst, my truck shouldnt have any issue getting there

 

Hoping I can win the Mega Run Raffle and then I can officially get into this...

I was having way to much fun on Saturday... and need something to have fun with while sitting at Cantina de Tierra Roja.... can totally build a mini crawl area at the Cantina.

 

its her first time so just saying i got the rental car coverage.

lol. yeah i would like to bring her out next weekend but she is saying she is going to the motocross race that Saturday. Not sure what time that starts but maybe i can get her out to bridgeport for a bit first.

 

i should probably go to that also. But i dont get off till 8pm friday night.

 

Sometimes the best deals are the ones that people have already built... we see them all the time, so if you dont win the RC in the raffle with your stupid luck!... then you can usually pick up a good used one.

 

Too bad you're still on the Flysky. Probably wouldn't have been too hard to bind the car to a different Spektrum remote

 

well i hadnt thought about until jim mentioned it but i have one radio also for all of my rigs, the drifter is also set up with a gyro ON TOP of the rx so i cant easily swap it out. im def willing to meet some where and let yall have a go but i dont think i can give up the car along with radio

 

yeah this maybe something we can do. That way you guys can drift with her and show her the ropes

 

I maybe investing in a more reliable remote soon.

I watched a bunch of review videos on the YouTubes. Most of the comparo’s were against the flysky, but this one has all sorts of features. $75 on the Amazons. Figured I’d give it a shot.
