Yeah, I think it’s due to softness.

Yes! I'm doing census work tomorrow so this evening I went through and made sure all the screws are tight and all is good on the rc. Lipos are charged and got new batteries for my head lamp. Should be good to go.

Cool, I’ll see you there. I finished my 4 link and SOA swap. Added Crawler Innovations 2 stage foams and a new metal front axle housing. Also added wider wheel hubs. I’m ready to see how it does compared to last weeks run.

Very difficult. Neither of us made it past gate 34 before timing out. Trail repairs and a few gate hits.

No, we checked to be sure there were at least 3 teams that made it further and left about 15 mins after y'all did. I think the 1st place team is the only one that actually finished the course.

absolutely. White settlement can have some treacherous terrain however and can be tricky to navigate for the balance impaired like myself

I have been out of the RC world for about 6 years or so. I had an upgraded E-REVO VXL and had a blast with it.

been getting sucked into YouTube lately and been eyeing a Traxxas slash VXL.
You guys have any websites you recommend of picking up some RC’s used? I would probably build it up to my taste, but since I’ve been out of the game so long, looking for some good options. Thanks!

eBay honestly. That or Marketplace on FB. I get the idea that hobby shops are not big fans of used equipment.

not sure what your main goal/type of driving you’ll be doing, but if you’re just bashing around, I would look into the new revo’s or Maxx. Lonestar Rc has a consignment area, not sure what all is available at the moment. There are atleast a handful of local rc FB pages, and market place, all prob your best bet for used. Offer up, 5 mile, etc sometimes have some stuff as well.
