Took all the rigs out, and the cold def puts a damper on the output of the batts! Bouncers lacked punch, and batts def drained quicker! Took the mega to the skate park, ramps were slick!!

Brought home a 2nd in class 1, and a DNF in class 2 at rig killer comp yesterday. Forgot reverses counted against you, and immediately pulled up to gate one and did a few reverses without even thinking... *idiiiiiot*. Potentially cost me the #1 spot.
Was cruising through c2, no gates, one winch, then at gate 26 of 30, took a tumble and winch line came off truck and ended up wrapping around wheel/hub. In the heat of the moment I chose to just cut the line. Cost me a trail repair and rendered the winch useless. Winch would have made the final gates a breeze, instead I got stuck trying to get my shock cord to do the job, which turned into falling off 29, and not being able to get back up to 30 to finish. Oh well! Was a super nice day, reaching mid 70’s out there, and Bandy got beat by two people! Bills gecko chassis fell off 29, as well, and it broke in half lol.

Nice job. Who's 4Runner is that again? I know my metal chassis carries a weight penalty, but I know that when that thing goes tumbling it's not breaking like carbon. I wonder if that $200 gecko has a warranty
Crawler did well on Saturday in the wet snowy mud. I dropped 1/2 of brass in the front and it still performed well. Ready for 2 man comp this weekend.

Just class 1. It’s just prep for Crawlapalooza mostly. $10 buy (RK is $20), and one 10 gate course.

@Suprajim54 thats Marcos t4r. He had some ESC issues so it took a handful of brutal tumbles. Kinda cool with doors flying open and closed as he flopped. I think he even had a seat fly out at one point.:rofl:
He has a magnet to hold the hood down, which worked really well, as it also found him a random body clip (seen in pic) when it rolled.

I don’t know the official response on the gecko chassis, but I know he cracked or broke the new gecko carbon blibbity blobbity front bumper in last comp, then whole chassis this comp. Too pricey and not built for abuse for me.

On another note, KLRM tires seemed pretty good at big rocks considering their lug style/size. You could def see the truck slightly “bouncing” as the lugs rotated and tried to grab. Went with the landmines, and they were flawless. Bandy reran it with his proline trenchers, after we were done, and he said they did better than the landmines he ran. Not sure how broke in his landmines are, but they def get better as they get softer. @Suprajim54 ran them through everything at WS the other day, and it didn’t matter if they were wet/dry, clean/covered in mud, they just flat out worked.
Hopefully my KLR’s show up today, so will have another tire to check out.
