I can’t wait to get settled and be able to get my stuff back out. We’re buying the house I posted about a little while back with the rocks everywhere. I’ll be doing some drainage improvements, that will also involve some more tiny truck stuff. Might be fun to get you guys to come over and give me some input and help me with a layout.

Also, I don’t know if it’s battery and wheels/tires is all that I changed since last comp, but I had to put my battery on in order to reach the 6lb min. That caught me off guard as I was over 7lbs at the last weigh in, which was after I removed the rear brass portal covers. (Having that additional rear weight, may or may not have benefited on the two descents that ruined the class 2 run.) Will likely have to do a test with them on and off to see if noticeable diff, or just not enough wheel speed/drag brake freedom to go that straight down.

Just need to put some stick on weights under the body before weigh in and then take them off for the comp, problem solved.

Has anyone ever had one of these Yeti Jr’s? Are they actually fun or just a waste of money?

Hit the creek for a few otw back from Kaufman yesterday. Raised the body posts a couple holes on the front and was able to run the unmolested body.

C1 and C2 are prepped for Freedom Fest ‘21 this weekend. By prepped, I mean I made sure all the bolts were tight, lol. I did buy some “comp batteries” since these courses are 6 minute max, might as well shave some unneeded weight!! Baby 4S powuhhh!!

Speaking of small powuhhh, NSDRC has some beastly micro servo and servo winch about to release.

Is the servo winch going to be an external spool?

Neat! I thought the winch was just a regular full size servo
