Yeah i could get a 8 AA battery holder that would be 12V, but that would be heavy also.

Readjusted the Servo to make sure it was straight, and changed the end points on the transmitter, so steering is good to go! However, I didn’t do something right on my axle tube swap, and I didn’t get a universal in correctly, or something, because one front wheel spins freely. I’ll have to break it down after work and see whashup.

Here is a few quick pics I snapped at the Rally track setup in Coppell. I went on my lunch break and didn't have time to really walk around and explore. There are a couple fences around this area so not sure of access to the river. The bank looks pretty steep, but there could be some areas nearby for crawling. There didnt seem to be any big jumps, but there was enough material around to make some. There were a few piles of landscape rock laying around so could be something to crawl on.1214171248a.jpg 1214171250.jpg 1214171245b.jpg 1214171245.jpg

Both. There definitely used to be some type of industrial building back there and only the foundation and asphalt lot is left. I saw random trash, but nothing that looks like anyone lives/camps back there. Based on FB posts, the Scale Rally guys still go there regularly.

that looks sick! Could use some of that landscape rock for the katy jackson crawl course.

FYI the GF is out of town christmas weekend so i plan to go out to the trails to work on finding/clearing out a spot for a course for crawling. Anyone else free that weekend?
Sweet! I say around 9am we meet there.

Who all works on the weekend in here? Trying to figure out who can make it to which days...

    I know @Tundra2Play works Saturdays...

I might be free then. My sister is pregnant and due around Xmas day so I may have to watch my nephew for a few days.
I'm good with Sunday morning. I only work weekdays so both Sat and Sun works fine for me most of the time.
