Got a Savox 1257TG and servo saver from HT Dallas yesterday and this morning ordered a couple 3S 1300mah batteries from Amazon (Same day shipping FTW!). Now, just waiting for the motor/esc to arrive and the rally car will be ready to go.

It should be a rocket once the motor comes in. 4650kv brushless on a 3s battery!

 

Think it will arrive this week?

I am certainly hoping it comes in this week. No more tracking after leaving HK, so no way to tell for sure. I know they require a signature, so I have to wait for them to drop off the notice and I pick up from the post office the next day. I hate getting packages through USPS

I didn't get the exact address for the rally on Sunday yet, but I know it's at a guys house in Murphy at 8am. Looks like he's got a big piece of property and setup a dirt/gravel course. I was kinda waiting to see if I had a running car before getting the location details. Everything is ready to go as soon as the motor/ESC come in though. Oh yeah, race fee is $5.00 (goes to the club/prizes)

Another day passes and still no package from HK

 

Man i highly doubt ill make it since its at 8am, i dont think ill be home until 4am that morning.

You can run mine if you want to make that race but electronics dont come in time

 

I'm still holding out hope that it comes in by Saturday but I might just skip the race if I can't run mine. It's early and means I'd miss watching the F1 race that morning. There should be another one in a few weeks and hopefully at a closer location. I passed by the old "track" and it's still closed off. That front gravel lot by the volleyball place is still open, so it's still a good spot to get some run time on the car. I'm still concerned if I glued the tires well enough. It would suck to have the tire go flying on the first race.

 

Its going to be a nice weekend so lets crawl!
