So pissed off at Blizzard right now. I can't play d3 because of horrible lag. Every 3-5 min i get lag so bad that i normally get killed. It lasts for about a min. While that is happening, i can go ping other sites on the internet and get pings > 100ms while D3 is 500+ms. It only started since the last patch. I've dropped my video settings way down just to make sure it wasn't my hardware.

 

You're not the only one man. I just got hit pretty hard about 10 minutes ago. Always happens when you teleport right into a buncha bosses... LoL.... effin annoying. So I'm on a short break. I had the inclination to finally finish off my wizard tonight, almost to 56 now.

 

Stupid question but what da FUCK are you supposed to do when you get the 'invulnerable' guys that have the 'immune' orb around them as a wizard? I was running solo just now trying to level up and the bastards kept following me and the orb NEVER wore off.... I ran the whole level and it was always on till they finally tracked me into a corner and killed me. Its fuckin stupid!

 

you have to kill the leader/unique. then all the minions die

I read that, however I went back in to go after him and he was immune as well.... fluke?

On a side note I think I finally figured out a method that I like with the Wizard and I'm surviving for once. Turns out I've been neglecting magic missile as well. Now I'm set up to where I can pretty much indefinitely fire arcane orbs and ray of frost. Works a hell of alot better than what I was doing! Seems like about 50% of them are crit dmg too...

 

sometimes the uniques can have invulnerable buffs as well, those wear off after 15 seconds though

still, they SUCK to kill. impossible to kite good


it was a level 61 rare with +magic find and +resistance all elements, along with 100+ dex and int

 

I've netted some big gains in the AH as well (sold a few items between 175-300K, and I've made $23.75 in the RMAH ), but the repair costs are still fucking stupid! More than 5K to repair per death! Really Blizzard?

 

Were they gloves, called Choke Stand with 13% MF? Lol.... I just searched and I saw a set looked alot like your description that listed as sold.

Speaking of heat, my gpu was at 110* C today while playing. I think i found my lag problem.

Wow, I just discovered Venom Hydra... HOLY SHIT that thing does work. I went AFK for a second in Act II, couple of those birds that circle overhead dropped on me when I was gone... I came to a pile of dead bodies LoL

 

I just started using venom hydra last night. My damage is right around 1100... I'm only at lvl 36 though . I only get to play a couple hours after my kid goes to bed.

check out D3 spellbook for iphone. its an app that will tell you what % dmg your spells do. Its pretty handy
