Hey it takes a lot to come on here and admit what happened. Some people would just disappear and never explain.

Posting this here shows that you are a stand up kind of guy and I thank you for that.

I wouldn't worry about that guy, give him back his creation and say that you DID do your end of the deal. You told us, and this thread here is proof. That thing didn't fit properly on the tailgate anyway. Now why would anyone want to keep anything that DOES NOT FIT let alone pay that much for it?

He threatened you. That in itself is means for YOU to call the police. At this point, the ball is in your court.

You owe him NOTHING. Even if you kept that thing, it's part of the deal. You held up your end of it. You did nothing wrong here. Like your girlfriend said, he could have posted this up himself. But there was a reason he didn't. And only HE knows what that reason is. And if he's a stand up man, he'd come here and explain, and give you respect for trying to help you start of what could have been a really useful product.

The OP ran into one of those toxic types, that tries to take down everyone within his reach. Good on the OP for coming clean.
    Lesson learned, rep inbound.

Good. And stay far away from that guy.

And just for good measure, (since you said he comes here) what's his screen name so we all know to do the same?

Went over to his house last night
with my brother and he was nice and apologetic. I think it was his wife who told him to be that way because her and my gf are friends.

I'm not sure if he is a member on here, just an assumption on my part because a lot of what I read he told me about and he told me to post on here. Should I say legal name on here??

He went to the lam side and got a Honda ridgeline.

Again I just want to apologize for this as I had no idea. I'm an honest person and believes in hard work to make money not scamming others. That's what's wrong with this world everyone is looking for a "shortcut". Lol. Hahaha.

I learned so much about my taco from this forum and look forward to one day contributing.

    Have a happy holidays everyone.
