I like it, I love it and it bad ass looking, I did have a problem with the strikers and clamps not locking or engaging with the striker plates LOL, so I tried again the next day and come to find out I had to give the handle a twist and it slide right under the striker lol and it Lock in place. Not sure why this cover only has a 4.6 star ratting with over 100 reviews its defiantly needs a 5 star rating Love the cover @DiamondBack Covers

 

So the handles work now? Still seems like they are too short from the pictures in your other post and if you're having to do weird maneuvering? (You also bend them first, right? I only saw photos of them in the straight locked out position. Lol.) Might be worth following up with DB still for the longer rods - they sent me the shorter ones I needed for free since it was a spec error.

I still want to look into that ratchet and u-bolt modification when I find the time.

Also, did you torque the front clamps? The 5 ft-lbs seemed like a lot. It really squished down the gasket and even slightly deformed the metal on the underside that it bites onto.

 

I torque them to 4.5 ft lbs 5 ftlb seems to much. As for the U bolts I think I'll definitely pass on that, cause it seems like it would definitely start messing up that the gasket on the tailgate since it would be a lil tighter. This is what it looks like.
I did call them today and talk to them, they have 3 sizes in the rods and I already have the longest size. After I figure out how to lock it in place I gave them another call. I also ask for some bulk head sealant , it's what they sent if you have a Tundra it's like a black putty type so I can get it in in the spot that stills shows light ...

If you notice you still can see light from the inside of the bed wen you look at each corners, this is the out side part that....
