No I have not done anything additional to the gaps. I wanted to observe until the seal break in.

I have 1 gap in each corner on the cab panel but there is a slight over hang so near impossible to get water in. So far my bed is 99% dry. The other 1% is due to opening with water on it and it's very little water in the first place.

The tailgate panel appears to have no gaps. I was able to check while someone closed me in. Don't lock yourself in there! ;)

I was able to get Diamondback to send me some additional weatherstripping too just in case.

Just wanted to check in on everyone. How are the Diamondback covers doing? Was there anything at all that you need from me?

I haven't received any PM's recently so hopefully that means all is well!

Have you guys used any sort of lube where the pins slide under the rails?

I haven't no. Silicone under the weather stripping and in the locks though to prevent them from freezing.

You're talking about the lock rods, right?

May have to readjust the positioning of rods and striker brackets if you're getting to much friction or having to apply too much downforce to lock.

Looks great! Did you install the additional tie down cleats yourself? I'm anxious to do mine.

Not too much pressure, I just noticed excessive water leakage and I thought my weather stripping was compressed enough, I didn't want to tighten it down further

I was getting a decent amount at the bulkhead seal.

Through trials and tribulations I finally got it sealed up but may use some clear silicone if problems persist in the future. I also slid some small pieces of thin weatherstripping under the bed rails near bulkhead and bulkhead seal.

Also don't think there is such thing as compressing the seal too much unless you will use it in a less compressed state than after it's broken in.

Do the paper trick. If paper pulls out easily when closed, it's too loose.

No, the cover came with the extra cleats installed already (I ordered the beefy HD version).

Just checking in and seeing if everyone is still liking the Diamondback after 3-4 months using it? I just scored a cement TRD Pro and looking at this or just go with the Rugged Liner.

I love my Diamondback. However, out of the goodness of my heart, if you'd really like one......I'd be willing to trade my Diamondback cover for your cement TRD Pro. I'm here to help.....

Lift, wheels, tires, floor liners, tonneau cover, and bed rug.

Nothing in the works currently. If you are interested though you can PM and I can see what kind of deal we can work out on one.
