sort of. There is a side trail near the top of Alpine Tunnel that is literally open for about 3 weeks of the year. Naturally I can't remember the name. But it connects over to Hancock near Iron Chest.

Awesome pics. Sick 72 Scout II. One of my favorites.

Oh, and your Tacoma has definitely aged far better than you.

My very first car. 1964 Jeep CJ6.

    My '65 Chevy.

Some of these may be repeats, tough to keep track at this point.

I don't know where this was but it must have been a big deal as everybody is watching.

My very first car again, on the day I brought it home. I was 14 and a had a daylight permit.

Internet points if somebody recognizes the location of this sign.
It's in the Southern part of the state.

These two are an attempt at panorama, they should go together. Full rainbow over Little Molas Lake.

    Thanks for looking.:)

Man... I'll have to eventually unearth my photos. I never had a camera but I think I have a few shots of my wheeling my Bronco.

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
Williams Pass. It's open only for the month of August every year.

Went to run it this past fall, and it was closed for the first time in my lifetime.

Well it won't happen this year, got a 9 month old and we are just trying to get back to day hikes here in CA. But when we can manage a serious road trip again, I'll be hitting you guys up for some route planning.

The first pic with the question mark is Animas Forks, taken from the Cinnamon Pass approach. The second group where you 'think' it's Animas, the middle one is, but I don't think the other two are. Might be, but I don't recognize that particular cabin, and there's a campsite next to a fair bank of trees behind it, and there aren't that many trees nor camping allowed in the immediate vicinity of Animas Forks. Then again, maybe it's just a really old picture. :D

Did anyone else see that first pic and think "Dog! You cut your hair!"? :p
