Yes I searched and couldnt come up with anything concrete.

SO, I've got 265/70/15 Toyo Open Country AT's on some pretty jank rims that were on the truck when I bought it. Looking at getting DC2 15x8's. First, there will be no issue with the tires fitting, correct? How about rubbing or offset issues on stock suspension? I've got 5100's all around to install yet, just havent had the time. They will be set at 1.75 if that makes a difference. Thanks!

you will have more than enough room, stock size is 265/70/16. you are 265/70/15 which is an inch smaller in diameter. and when you lift 1.75? that isn't an option on 1st gen billys. but you will be fine.

thanks, good to hear. im a little confused on what you said about the bilsteins. according to downsouthmotorsports, where i ordered from, i have a choice of 1.75 or 2.5. if thats not the case, what do the 2 "rings" on them represent in terms of lift for a first gen?

also, the recommended size for the 15x8's is 235, will my 265's be ok or should i order the 15x10's, where the recommended is a 32" tire...

96 and 2011 are two different trucks...

to the OP, you should be fine with those wheels, and you may want to stick to a 15x8 as they are easier to resell should you decide to change up at a later time...

the backspace on the 15s is 3.625" which will stick out just right on a 96 if running 265-70s...

once lifted, you might like the look of a 265-75 in there...
