You asked for a repair for a defective product and then asked for the product he advertises? And he said refund?!

Yes, he is pretty straight up and responsive. I just feel like I was getting caught in the teething process of R&D and ongoing minor changes that are not well documented on his site. And I don't have time for any of that. After my email exchange last night, I was laying awake thinking maybe I should just return them, because there are too many little details (including other I haven't posted) that I'm not pleased about. In the morning, his bushing replacement offer was in my inbox, and after the next exchange, his offer for complete refund without prompting. Perhaps he senses I was going to be an ongoing pain in his ass. I was sensing these UCAs were going to be an ongoing pain in my ass and always bugging me in the back of my mind. And they are such a PITA to R&R, I don't want to fuck around.

FWIW, I was looking at your Camburg posts, because that was my next thought or a BJ ET solution, and now I see you struggling with the boots on those, and not getting great customer support. So then I'm all like, self, of all the uniballs, TC seems to have the fewest corrosion and noise issues. So...

That sounds like another project I have no time for. Appreciate the offer, but I'll pass.

Yeah, I'm not interested in LR UCAs either. Seems too many techs can't understand them, plus I always believe in the fewer moving parts, the better. KISS.
I'm not sharing all the details of our communications here, just a couple key facts. I asked for a few other things too. I was surprised, too, but, given my response above to Crom, I thought, OK, I'm done. I do not want to paste my personal email exchanges all over the forum for people to niggle and piss over as typically happens, but if anyone is genuinely interested in his product and has questions for me, I'll PM with them. I'm a picky SOB. I've had house painters decline to work for me. I've made co-workers cry (hot female, too, but I ain't got time fo dat). Stuff that bugs me may not bug other people, and may work perfectly fine for them.

For what it's worth, I've had Dirt King on my PreRunner for four years and forty thousand miles and they're pure beef. Zero noise, zero issues with alignment, zero problems. I'm replacing the TC UCAs on my 4wd with Dirt King because the overwhelming positive experience I've had with Dirt King.

    No problem.

I'll still take the "I asked him for stainless hardware like he shows on his website, and not the cheap aluminum screws I actually received, and he suggested I get a refund," as a WTF.

The Camburg BJ arm is extremely well made. I have always been impressed with the construction and the care, assembly, and install instructions were excellent.

I looked at the TC to replace the Camburg BJ ones, just to get away from the dust boots. But my suspension adviser told me no. Told me to deal with the boots and make it work. It was only one boot that ripped. Replacing it was harder than it should be, but I'm happy with my install work around. Other people run them and don't seem to have issues. like @Scott B.

Oh, sorry. That was misleading. I'm having them blown up and framed by Shutterfly for you to hang over your headboard. Should be about a week. My bad.

Thanks for additional info. Sadly, I'm back to homework I really don't want to do over. But I have time while I wait for my shocks. Please feel free to send me any specific deets/links :D

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Alas, a spot on the shelf sits empty as the void in my heart from the expectation of progress.

He figured out @scocar was going to be @Crom Mark II.

You know Nick thought he'd never see his JBAs ever again and then he met me in the Mojave (his JBAs are on my truck).

So to be clear you had the JBA bushings rather than the OEM ones and the bushings were crappy?

    Hey Ken.
    1. Badge of honor.
    2. Right, know you have them, and they are treating you fine. Your are pre-stainless HD BJ and elasmoter bushing mods, IIRC. Both are very recent.
    3. He has begun supplying new elastomer bushings, which look like this on the website. Note the zinc-coated (I assume) bushing sleeves.
