Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
And just where do you put that on the truck??? Seat cover? If it does not get attached via a machined fastening device to the vehicle then it does not count as progress.

It's all fluff to distract us.

Yeah, that's why I got them. They were just an effing arm. The bushings were OEM and the BJ was a bog standard easy to source and replace BJ. So if JBA never made another one I didn't care as parts that might need replacing could be sourced from anywhere. And since poor Nick wrenched for multiple weekends debugging the design I knew it was solid ;)

Yeah, so is this now the default thing he ships with? Or did you have to "upgrade" to this? I also see he has a JBA ball joint of some kind. Yours come with that or a standard 3rd party part?

I have to say, if it is now poly bushings and a non-standard ball joint I kind of fail to see the point...

WRT the ball joint, you should still be able to swap in the readily available predecessor Moog part. The pattern is the same. Apparently the new elastomer bushings also fit TC UCAs, so I guess they are not totally one-off.

But in your unusual usage scenario, yeah, the OEM/Moog setup would make sense if something broke in Bilgewater, CA, and you needed parts like now.

My set did not include the special pin-spanner tool to disassemble the top cap for rebuilding. I asked about this, and he said you need to buy a rebuild kit. I asked if he could provide a source for that, because there is none provided on his website. I did not get an answer to that specific question. So I wasn't thrilled with that.

Cliff Notes: don't bother with JBA until they get their act together.

I've been known to haul things in a questionable manner. But I've never used rope.
